Kahlown 4.2 facilitates its users to configure it to capture screenshot of all screens

- Select "Do Not Record Video" for video options
- Check check box for "Capture All Screens"
Please remember all screenshots are stored in Screenshots directory within Kahlown
directory.

Record smooth screen video using Kahlown screen spy monitor and capture 10 - 15
screenshots per second. You still have the other option to record video using screenshot
configuration. Following are the available video options in stealth mode.

(0 - 60 screenshots per minute)
- Record Smooth Video - Ignore configuration and record smooth video (10 -
15 screenshots per second)
- Do Not Record Video - Do not record video just capture screenshots and save

Compress video in stealth mode
Kahlown screen spy monitor can compress video with any of the following codecs to
save you more disk space and increase monitoring time.
- No Codec/Un Compressed
- Microsoft Video 1
- Cinepak Codec by Radius
- Windows Media Video 9 (VCM) codec.
- Xvid Codec
Set video quality between 0 and 100 where 0 means extremely low and 100 means highest
quality of the video. Save even more disk space using low color depth.
- 32 Bit Color
- 24 Bit Color
- 16 Bit Color

We are excited to announce that we have added new function "Sync A/V" to
Kahlown screen recorder. Now you can fix the audio video lag in your video (AVI)
files. Kahlown can Sync the video or audio which lags in the video file.
Just select the video file from the video list and click "Sync A/V" button. Kahlown
will start processing the video file and will show the progress along the way. Kahlown
will create a new video file and will list it in the video list. Click
Sync audio/video lag
to find out how it works and also see video examples.
Kahlown will decompress and compress the file again with selected codec. Please make
sure that codec you select is installed.
Please make sure that file is not being used by any other program before you start
Sync process.

Following features have been added to Kahlown.
- Configure the output folder and save videos and screenshots wherever you like on
your machine. You can always go back to original configuration by clicking on "Restore
default configuration" menu under File menu.
- Increased the time limit for tool tip, Now it is visible for 15 seconds instead
of 5 seconds.
We also added program's shortcut at user's desktop, Please delete it who wants to
run Kahlown in stealth mode so that others do not see it.
Please make sure that user has read/write access to the folder that you configure.

Version 3.7

We have added a new feature to Kahlown screen spy software. Now you can configure
Kahlown to either record screen video or just capture screenshots
of computer screen into image files.
Just turn on the "Do not record video" option on Kahlown screen and it would
only save screenshots at a regular interval (configurable between 0 and 60 per minute)
without creating a video file. It would create a directory/folder for each day so
that you can identify screenshots by date.

We have fixed a bug in Screen Spy Monitor section of Kahlown to remove the black
screen from video recorded in stealth mode. A black screen shows up in the video
file recorded in stealth mode for the time when computer is locked and unlocked
using Control + Alt + Del.

We have made an enhancement to screen recording section of Kahlown. Screen recorder
supports hot key now. You can set hot key of your choice to start and stop screen
recording. Default hot key is Control+Alt+F8.
Now Kahlown would not show up in the task bar when screen recording is started
using the hot key instead of "Start Recording" button.
Video recorded using hot key is also little bit more smooth as compared to
video recorded using "Start Recording" button.

Version 3.3

In version 3.3 we have added a new option in the codec information box to record
an uncompressed video file. Some people do not have any of the codecs installed
on their machines so when they record and playback the video it is all BLACK SCREEN.
So to fix that problem we have given the option to record video without any codec.
Just select following option from the compressor drop down list in the codec information
box and record video.
Please be advised that uncompressed video files use a lot more space than compressed
video files.

WMV Format
- Record computer screen into Windows Media Video (WMV) format using Windows Media
Encoder 9.
- Record Auido from the Audio device including line in and line out.
- This option massively reduces video size as compared to AVI file.
Please be advised that annotations do not work with this format.
AVI Format
- Record screen video into AVI using Windows Media Video 9 (VCM) codec.
- Record screen video into AVI using Xvid Codec

Capture whole screen
Capture whole screen with just one click of the mouse. it will capture whole screen

This is the most exciting feature of Kahlown. This would only capture the selected
area of the screen. Click "Capture area of the screen" and cursor will change into

Directory path to screenshots
This provide the physical path of the screenshots. All the captured screenshots
are stored at this location and user can view those in any picture viewing tool.
Files are stored as bitmap (bmp) images.
